Rare weekends at home are always appreciated, and last weekend was no exception. We went to see JT and Ben Affleck’s new movie, Runner Runner, on Friday night (which we thoroughly enjoyed), and then we had friends over Saturday to watch Georgia and Auburn football at Bar Craiggers, as we affectionately call our new-and-improved basement. Sunday, as you may have seen, we spent the morning celebrating our favorite little red-haired one-year-old at his superhero birthday party. The rain held off for the party, and then I spent the afternoon making this chicken and butternut squash stew for dinner. It was so nice to curl up on the couch with a hot bowl of stew while listing to the rain and catching up on tv. Soup Sundays are the best!
