We spent the weekend on the Gulf Coast for our friends Erin and Chris’s wedding, and it was a much-needed vacation! Rosemary and all of the little beach towns along 30-A are such charming places to visit — can’t wait to go back!

Best moment this week: Our weekend at the beach! I grew up spending time on the beaches in St. Augustine and Siesta Key in Florida, and being by the ocean is one of my favorite things in the world. We had such a fun time with perfect weather, great friends, and a beautiful wedding.

Miss anything: It would have been nice to partake in some beach drinks along with our friends, but I enjoyed the wedding cake (I chose the chocolate peanut butter layer, which was divine) — and a Krispy Kreme donut that was passed out at the end of the reception!

Cravings: There’s nothing that I just have to have right now, but I still have a major sweet tooth. And I try to get as much fruit in as possible.

Feeling good/bad: Feeling great — and enjoying the tan I got while at the beach!

Baby purchases/gifts: Our neighbors gave us the sweetest little ceramic lamb and “Blessings for Baby Girl” book, and a friend who is also a mama-to-be gifted us with the most adorable Bla Bla Dolls rattle and Honest Company shampoo. It smells so good that I want to keep it for myself! We’re also moving along on the nursery… we got a faux sheepskin rug and have ordered blackout curtains. Here’s hoping that white, furry rug won’t immediately be covered in Coco’s hair… wishful thinking, right?

Looking forward to: My mom coming in town this weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day! We’re planning some fun meals out, as well as mani/pedis for us girls… and I’m sure we’ll do some shopping for baby H.
