What a lovely (and busy) Mother’s Day weekend we had! Craig and I had a little date at Bocado, home of one of our favorite burgers in Atlanta, on Friday night before my full day of photo sessions on Saturday. My sweet dad flew my mom up to spend Mother’s Day with us since he’d be out of town for work, and we had a great time, even though she was here less than 2 days. We got to take her to two restaurants she’d never been to (Agave and Ink & Elm), and then we treated ourselves to mani/pedis at this cute nail salon near our house called Polished. We also made a last-minute trip to my aunt’s house to visit with our grandmother, who was in town from Alabama. Always a treat!! To finish off a busy, fun day, my SIL’s parents hosted us for dinner at their beautiful home-turned-art-gallery. It was a perfect, jam-packed weekend celebrating our mom (and thinking of Craig’s mom in Nashville!) — and enjoying my day as a mom-to-be!
