2012 has come to a close, so I wanted to do a little recap (more for my own sake than anything else) on what a great year it was and some of the fun and memorable things I (or we) did during the past 12 months.
[started this blog]
[visited 8 states and 1 country]
[ran our first (very colorful) 5K]
[watched my brother propose to his longtime girlfriend on a trip to Costa Rica]
[went ziplining through the rainforest and then rode a horse down a mountain in a monsoon]
[became faux boat owners]
[celebrated 2 years as a Stella & Dot Stylist and 6 years at the Center for Puppetry Arts]
[took Coco to the beach for the first time (she’s not a fan)]
[attended the last ever Hoopla conference in San Francisco]
[rode in a giant speedboat painted like a shark around New York City]
[celebrated the passing of Craig’s youth in Nashville as he turned 30]
[ate beignets at the famous Cafe DuMonde in New Orleans]
[sat inside a giant Oscar Mayer wiener mobile]
[celebratedĀ 3 years of marriage andĀ the weddings of two of our longtime friends]
[threw my mom a super surprise party in Jacksonville for her 60th birthday]
[met many, many friends’ and family members’ babies who were born this year]
[hosted our 2nd annual Christmas dinner (another success!)]
[remodeled the basement and patio (including all sorts of fun new furniture)]
[hosted a NYE dinner party]
Happy New Year, everyone! Here’s to a fun, fulfilling, healthy, happy 2013!
